July 14, 2002: A Double Decker bus Nap

The plane ride was okay. I sat next to Diana and the cutest guy on the whole plane, Joel. When we arrived we went through the passport line then picked up our luggage. My suitcase had been bent and scratched, which I wasn't too happy about. After the baggage claim we went through Customs which was just a long line. After Customs we got on the Tube and rode to Belsize Park where we walked with our luggage, to Pax Lodge, the Olave Center.

We signed in and put our luggage in a room then went back to the Tube to get to Trafalgar Square. We took pictures and ate at a little restaurant called Garfunkle's.

I ate fries and "still" water. Afterwards we took a ride on a double-decker bus, on which everyone dozed off at least twice.

When the tour ended everyone got pop and coffee. After the pop and coffee everyone was awake so we decided to shop for an hour and a half. I bought some cute souvenirs for friends and family. After shopping we got back on the Tube and rode to Belsize Park, then ate dinner at a little cafe called Ask. I had British pizza and still water. Our table finished first so Greta took us to a gas station on the way back to Pax Lodge and we bought some oddities in the food section. We came back to Pax Lodge and got ready to go to sleep. Everyone was nearly asleep anyway. Thus ends our first adventure in London, U.K.
