I woke up at 6:30 L.T. and took a shower down the hall and washed my hair. I put on my makeup and waited for Diana to get ready. We ate at 7:30 then went outside to flag. Then our group walked to the Tube entrance but the Tube was closed due to signal failure. We went shopping while we waited. I bought the 3rd Princess Diaries at Daunt Bookstore. The Tube was up and running in 45 min. We took the Tube to Trafalgar Square, then walked to the embankment for a boat tour of the Thames. I got some great pictures.
After the tour we ate our bag lunches in the park by the Thames. We walked to the nearest station and took the Tube to Belsize Park but someone said we were on the wrong train so we all had to get off at Euston. We walked up the stairs and part of the group was separated from the other part. When we realized what happened we tried to find the lost five but couldn't. The Tube shut down shortly afterwards due to, guess what, signal failure. The rest of the group took a bus back to Belsize Park and walked to Pax Lodge. The rest of the group was there. They had taken to Tube before it shut down.
We had beginning orientation, then free time. The Red Patrol, mine, set the table for dinner. After dinner we had the opening ceremony with the Pax Lodge Pinning Ceremony. We played "get together" games for learning names. We sang the Pax Lodge song, then went to sleep. I finished reading the Princess Diaries 3 at 11 pm.
