I woke-up this morning to the sound of a leader banging loudly n the door of the room next door. It was 6:30 am. Diana and I got dressed and went to breakfast. Afterwards we had the flag ceremony and got ready for our outing of the day. I am in Group A who are going to Buckingham Palace.

We took a bus until the traffic was too bad, then we got on the Tube for the rest of the way. We had to be at the Palace at 11:15. We ran the whole way from the underground right through Downtown London! We got there at 11:17. But, the guard let us in anyway. God Bless the Queen's Guard! We were allowed inside the gates of Buckingham Palace to watch the changing of the guard. It was really cool and the Drum Major was GREAT!!!

We ate lunch in the park then walked to the GG Heritage Center. I bought some really cool patches. After that we walked to Westminster Abby and took an audio tour. I bought some cute souvenirs in the bookshop. We rode the Tube back to Belsize Park and walked back to Pax Lodge. Group A ate dinner at 5:30 but Group B wasn't back yet.

I called Cade and talked to Dad then wrote an email to Mom. It was cut short by our patrol's going on an outing. We walked to a local grocery store and bought junk food. We even got pictures of it. We came back to Pax Lodge and went to the Lobby Lounge to discuss what we wanted to do for the rest of the trip. Afterwards we practiced our presentation for International Night. I got to perform my sign language song and everyone LOVED it. It feels good to be appreciated. It's late and we are getting ready to go to sleep.
