July 22, 2002: St. Paul's Cathedral

I woke up at 7:00 pm, washed my hair, put on my makeup, and got dressed. I went to breakfast at 7:50. After breakfast I came up to my room to clean and write in my journal. We had a meeting after flag and we got read to go on the day's outing. We took the Tube to Embankment then to Blackfriars' Station. We toured the Globe and went through an exhibition on the Globe and Shakespeare. After we saw the Globe a couple of us at lunch by the Thames.

We met the group beside the Millennium Bridge. I bought Cade a personalized wire picture frame. We walked over the Millennium Bridge to St. Paul's Cathedral. We looked around and I got mom a silver cross necklace from the gift shop. After we saw the Cathedral we took the Tube back to Belsize Park. We had tea and scones/crumpets at 3:30. After tea I joined some of the Canadian girls who were watching Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. There are some changes in the U.K. version. At 6:00 I went downstairs to eat dinner. I called Mom and Cade before we ate. After dinner I came back up to my room to get ready for the closing ceremony.

The closing ceremony started at 7:30 pm. We played games, gave silly awards, sang the Pax Lodge song, lit candles, then sang taps. We had lots of fun. After the ceremony I came back to my room to finish packing and to write in my journal. I went to sleep at 10:40.
