July 24, 2002: A Midsummer's Night Dream

I kept waking up because it was really bright outside. I got up at 6:50 and took a shower, washed my hair, put on my makeup, and got ready. We ate breakfast at 7:50 and left for the London Eye at 8:30. It took forever on the tube and we didn't get there by the 9:00 appointment. We had a lot of delays and we got there right before our 9:30 reservation. We rode the London Eye and took some great pictures. Kathy didn't come with us. Jennifer from Pax Lodge was our 2nd adult. We had so much fun. Kathy has been driving us insane.

After the London Eye we walked to the Globe and the group looked around other places till 12 noon. We waited till 12:45 for Kathy. Jax stood in line at 11:45 and the people going to the play joined her at 12:15. The five of us girls got tickets together for 23 pounds. They were great seats. Bottom level center. The play was A Midsummer Night's Dream and it was done with the whole cast in pajamas. It was absolutely fantastic! I had such a good time. After the theatre we took the tube to the Hard Rock Cafe to meet the other group.

I bought John a Hard Rock Cafe tshirt in the Hard Rock Cafe shop. We at in the really cool basement. I ordered an ice cream brownie hot fudge sundae. It was HUGE. I ate all of it by myself. After the Hard Rock Cafe the older girls and Greta took Jen back to Pax Lodge and we had to go back to Holland House with Kathy. AAAAAAAAAH!!!! When we got back we started packing.

I packed and repacked my clothes and souvenirs. We laughed and made noise and had fun. Everything is ready or almost ready to go. I went to sleep at 12:20 am.
