Got up at 6 am. Washed my hair and took a shower. Mom and I packed our bags and went downstairs to get breakfast. We left at 7:30 for the D-Day beaches and the American Military Cemetery.
It was huge with a look-out of the beach and the ocean. After the cemetery we visited the American D-Day Museum. We watched a movie about the invasion.
We got back on the bus and drove to the Bayeux Tapestry, where we had lunch. It was really cool. It is over 900 years old and 70 meters long. We left the tapestry and drove back to Paris. We checked in at the hotel and took the metro. Someone stole my wallet on the metro so I have to get my driver's license, library card, and a new wallet plus all my pictures. There was only about 0.30 E in my wallet (he he he). Serves them right.
We ate salad, pork chops, and ice cream at the restaurant. After that we rode up to the top of the Eiffel Tower. It was gorgeous.
We left the tower, took the metro to the hotel, and got back at about 1:00 am.
