I woke up at 6 am and washed my hair and got dressed. Mom and I the Continental breakfast. I had cereal and croissant. We got on the bus for Giverny at 8:30. We got stuck in traffic on the way there. We got to Giverny at about 11:20 am. I got some good pictures on Monet's bridge and in the garden.
We left at 12:30 for Paris. We walked to the Louvre and ate lunch and shopped a little.
After that we walked through the Louvre and saw some of the most famous pieces. The Mona Lisa, Winged Victory, Venus de Milo. After the Louvre we walked back to the hotel to get ready for dinner.
We walked at least a mile and a half to dinner. For dinner we had tomatoes, chicken, and some kind of fabulous cream puff dessert. After dinner we took the metro to the Sacre Coeur. The metro was horrible, only 8 of 20 trains were running, everyone else was on strike. They were packed. At the Sacre Coeur I got some great pans of Pairs. We shopped in Monmartre. I got a charm for my bracelet and five tiny prints of the city. We took the metro back to the hotel and fell asleep immediately.
